So then what? You've decided on a subject, bought your domain name, picked out a nice theme, and are ready to get rolling. I can see you are a little stumped here, and maybe scratching your head wondering just how you can make money writing on a blog. Well, you've got a few choices.
If your blog is about, for example, fishing, you can become an affiliate for fishing products and place ads here and there. Don't go crazy or people will hit the back button as soon as they land on your site, but just place a few banner ads. It's simple to do, don't worry. But the best kind of ad is actually a text ad where you just hyperlink your text to an affiliate product. If someone clicks link and makes a purchase you earn a commission.
You could also put up some Adsense if you would rather just earn money when people click on things. That way no one ever has to buy anything. But either way it works and if you put in some effort on a daily basis you will be able to earn a nice income with your blog.
